POSITION - MANAGER- LEGAL

Purpose of the position:

  • To ensure that the School has adhered to the laws and regulations of the governing bodies for education.
  • To ensure that organizational legal matters are managed properly, efficiently and that the relevant and respective stakeholders are shared and given proper advice and guidance.
  • To ensure that the Management Team is provided updates and reports of all legal concerns affecting the school.
  • To Liaison with all relevant Government offices and other competent authorities as necessary for all matters of legal concern.
  • To visit all competent authorities for documentations, follow up and keeping the record of the same.

Responsibilities :

  • Providing input, support and advice on legal issues and implications related to the school environment.
  • Manage all regulatory affairs of the school as per the statutory guidelines.
  • Recommending and assisting in the development and implementation of systems and process as per compliance standards regulated for schools.
  • Forming and regulating school committees and policies such as Child Protection Policy, School Management, Catering , Security , Vigilance Committees.

Qualifications:

  • Should possess a Bachelors Degree / Masters in Law (LLB/LLM), with relevant working knowledge.
  • Prefer candidates with experience in similar capacities in an educational institution.
  • Exposure to Trademarks & Copyright matters will be an added advantage.
  • Fluency in local language is a must. Should have the ability to read and decipher legal notices in Kannada.

Job Summary:
The Lab Assistant is responsible for the smooth functioning of all three science laboratories in accordance with the standards specified by the IB school

Essential Responsibilities :
Ability to manage Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories Organize and prepare the labs for class sessions and examinations Maintain work area and equipment
Work with teachers and heads of the science departments to plan
Work with the teachers and follow guidelines while setting and adhering to safety standards
Maintain, construct and operate equipment
Carry out tests to verify material supplied and to help students in doubt or difficulty
Keep abreast of latest equipment and technology that can prove beneficial to the school and student community
Create and follow a process oriented approach towards managing all lab requirements
Identify materials required for all labs and liase with procurement team
Maintain a check on stock and prepare purchase orders in time to ensure timely delivery of material
